Comment and Diary Policy

It is not possible for DK GreenRoots to read or monitor all of the comments posted at the site. Therefore, a policy is needed regarding what material is not acceptable.

You may not post material that: 

• infringes upon or violates the copyrights, trademarks or is otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights or intellectual property rights of any person;
• constitutes falsehoods, misrepresentations, libel or defamation;
• violates a person's right to privacy, relates to personal private disputes with another person or outs the name, picture, identity or other personally identifiable information about another user;
• violates any local, state, national, or international law;
• contains, threatens or advocates illegal or violent acts against any other person;
• degrades or discriminates against another person(s) based on gender, race, class, age, ethnicity, geographical locale, national origin, immigrant status, religion, sexual preference, disability, or other classification;
• is right-wing talking points;
• is based on unsubstantiated conspiracy theory; or
• is predatory, hateful, or intended to intimidate, threaten, stalk or harass another user.

Readers and commenters further agree to indemnify and hold harmless DK GreenRoots  from claims resulting from the use of any material appearing on DK GreenRoots which damages the reader, commenter or any other party.

• You agree that you are fully responsible for the content that you submit. You will indemnify DK GreenRoots and its owners and publisher from and against losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any claim brought by any third party relating to content you have posted.

• DK GreenRoots is not responsible for and may disagree with material posted in the diaries and comments. This is an opinion and advocacy site. The material posted by DK GreenRoots or left in the comments section may or may not be accurate.
